Take us to work
There are several ways you can support 1736 Family Crisis Center on
the job.
For instance, when you designate 1736 Family Crisis Center to receive your gift in workplace fundraising campaigns, you channel vital help to troubled children, teens, and adults. You can also invite your co-workers to sponsor or participate in a tax-deductible cash or in-kind contribution to benefit our children and families. As one example, we stock and operate a festive holiday store for individuals and families enrolled in our programs. Each fall, we are in particular need of gifts for the store, such as new toys, clothing, games, sports equipment, CDs, and other items for all ages. Your company may offer the opportunity to apply for corporate sponsorship of events or for grants to support new or ongoing programs. In addition, many employers generously match the contributions of employees, doubling the healing impact of such gifts. Check to see if your workplace has a Matching Gift Program and ask for a matching gift form. Then fill out the donors portion of the form and send the entire form to us with your tax-deductible contribution. Well complete the form and forward it on, advising your employer of your kind action to benefit others in need. Please send your check and employer matching gift form to:
1736 Family Crisis Center 2116 Arlington Ave., Suite 200 Los Angeles, CA 90018. |
